Orofacial Myofunctional Disorders (OMDs) involve inappropriate muscle functions of habits involving the tongue, lips, and/or jaw that can negatively affect chewing, swallowing, dentition, speech, or maintenance of desired orthodontic results.

The 4 Primary OMDs
